I've been thinking about this hip hop crime blog for awhile but news of Snoop Dogg's upcoming arraignment on felony gun and drug charges reminds me that the criminal arts remain a crucial element of hip hop culture. That's right, I'm not saying if it's criminal it can't be hip hop because I don't live in a purist universe like that. It's all connected and, if there is a culture, crime is a part.
And so Hip Hop Crimes staggers into the daylight.
That's right, snitches, Hip Hop Crimes has entered the rap game via the second story in our BAPE camo hoodies and Ninja Nation sneaks.
